Being in the Southern Caribbean, or Deep Caribbean, the average annual temperatures in St. Lucia do not change dramatically but stay within the same warm and comfortable range.

Compared to other islands, what is unusual is the average number of rainy days per month. They are a lot, with rain expected to fall sometime for almost half of every month.

Fortunately, the rain usually is brief, often falling only in the afternoon. But the rain is what makes the island so green!
