Technically none, but an 8 day waiting period is required after the receipt of your notarized application (see below). During that time, the application is posted for public inspection. for Marriage License Required Documents Once on island you will need to present a certified birth
certificate, passport and valid photo ID, such as a driver's license. To marry on St. Thomas or St. John: Send the application form to Administrator,Clerk of the Territorial Court of the Virgin Islands, P.O. Box 70, St. Thomas, USVI, 00804. Fax: (340) 777-8254 Federal Express or UPS address: Clerk of the Court To get married on St. Croix: Write to the Territorial Court of the Virgin Islands, Family Division, P.O. Box 929, Christiansted, St. Croix, U.S.V.I., 00821. Call (3409) 778-9750. Court hours: There is a $400 fee (no personal checks) to be married by a judge. The St. Thomas Court is available Monday through Friday; St. Croix from Monday through Thursday. Excluding holidays.
