Time: only a 5-minute walk, but plan according to how long you feel like swimming. Difficulty: 1. Trailhead: The town of Diego Martin. It's only a 5-minute walk down a bridle path from the trailhead in the town of Diego Martin to Blue Basin Waterfalls, which was a popular tourist spot long before there were nature centers. A tropical pool at the end of the waterfall was once hidden by the Blue Basin village and used only by locals for bathing. A short hike but relaxing swim. Do not leave anything of value in the car. |
